Easy to get to and free parking. The best part of the community beach is the beach. The water stays shallow for a long ways, allowing the water to be warm. The water is all sand which is nice on your feet! By far the best spot on Lake Goodwin.
It has a nice play area and a huge shallow beach for children to play in safely. It also has very clean restrooms and outdoor showers. And one large pavillion for BBQs. Parking is usually full so be prepared for that. Overall worth it!
Fun place to be on very hot weather. Very shallow water that goes beyond the pier. Excellent with little kids.
Great place to take the family swimming. There is sand, shallow water and its warm. You can also bbq and there is a playground. There is also a dock to walk down and at the end you can sit and relax or jump in. Dont have to worry about any weeds at bottom of the lake.
It has public restrooms, playground, haven't seen BBQ grill - some people brought their own small portable. No lifeguard on duty. There is RV park right next to it (walking distance) and small shop. Little advice if you need directions put Lake Goodwin Park in. If you omitt the word park it will take you to residential area.
