It's just ok. Management doesn't care about the place - no investment since upgrade to digital projectors. Floors crappy, paint terrible. They've moved the ticket sales to the food counter in the evening so don't arrive anywhere near time for your movie or you'll have some idiot standing in front of you ordering four buckets of popcorn and drinks and candy and taking ten minutes to do it (a really stupid decision to make the person selling food sell tickets). Just because they are understaffed - more minimal investment. I sound like I hate the place - it's just a very poor experience as a movie theatre compared to more modern wants (with reclining seats, easy access, and clean bathrooms). But the films show well and the floor isn't TOO sticky. And it doesn't smell. Faint praise.
The Dragon Palace is a well loved restaurant in Stanwood. The food is excellent, proportions guarantee leftovers, waitstaff thorough & attentive. Location easy off&on Hwy 532, abundant parking.
It's an old theatre and shows it's age. Worn out but clean carpets. The screens are okay. Some seats are busted but it is a good cinema and great staff.
Amazing place, the manager is super personable and happy to answer questions. This is an amazing hidden treasure with near empty seating you have the theater to yourself....brings a person back to an era of 80's theater dates and a time long past. Go see Jose at amigos and have some good food or drinks before hand......can't go wrong here

If you want to watch the move (no frills) this is the place for you. You are not paying for all the fancy upgrades. You get the movie. You get a seat. It will cost you less.
